Common questions

Yes — just let us know which dresses you'd like to try and we'll do our best to have them free. Bookings take priority over try-ons, so having a couple of time options helps, especially during ball season.
Appointment only — no walk-ins. DM us on Instagram with the dresses you're interested in and we'll lock in a time.
Of course! Feel free to bring friends or family for a second opinion. If anyone else wants to try on dresses too, the $10 try-on fee applies per person trying on — and it's always credited toward a rental if you book.
Yes, we have a small studio in Totara Vale, Auckland. All try-ons are by appointment — DM us to book a time.

Pickup bookings are made directly through our website. Postal bookings are arranged via Instagram DM at @lastnightsdressnz so we can quote your exact shipping cost before you pay.
Shipping is $15–$18 depending on current courier rates ($7.50–$9 one way), quoted exactly before you pay. Rural addresses +$5. A prepaid return bag is included — drop it back over the counter at any NZ Post shop. No dry cleaning needed, we handle that.
The rental price covers the dress for your event. No bond is required — we just ask for a copy of your ID at pickup or via DM for postal orders. Shipping ($15–$18) applies to postal orders only — pickup is free.

No bond required. Instead of a cash bond, we ask for a copy of your photo ID at the time of pickup or before dispatch. Your ID is held only for the duration of your rental and deleted once the dress is returned.
Each listing includes size and measurement details and we're happy to send extra photos or measurements before you book. Unfortunately we can't issue refunds if a dress doesn't fit once shipped, so please check sizing carefully or book a try-on first.
Minor wear is expected and covered. If there's damage beyond normal wear, a repair or replacement fee may apply — we'll always discuss this with you first.
No — we take care of all cleaning between rentals. Just return the dress and we'll handle the rest.
We don't offer holds. After a try-on, you have 48 hours to complete your booking before the dress becomes available again.
